What is Print on Demand?

You will hear us say “Print on Demand” a lot throughout the site so we thought we would explain what that means. There are two different primary methods of stocking a 3D-printing business. Print to Stock and Print on Demand. Print to Stock businesses primarily bulk print in certain styles and colors and sell those primarily to consumers. Our Moos of America would be considered Print to Stock. This allows the business to ship these items out quickly. Print on Demand however, reserves the printing to after the order is placed to allow the customer to choose from numerous customization options. The only downside to this method is that is several larger orders are placed with numerous custom items, the printers can get backed up or delayed for several days. Both methods have their strengths. We primarily employ the Print on Demand method as we love giving the consumer the ability to ask for completely custom orders.

What does my order come with?

Unless otherwise specified, your order will include your option of moos and enough clear bags and moo tags to sufficiently create bags to go mooing with. During the checkout process, you will be asked if you would like to opt out of the bags and/or tags in exchange for additional mini moos in your purchase.

What are the current printing and shipping times?

Most orders are processed and packaged up in under 6-10 business days upon ordering. While we do our best to keep it in this timeframe, there are times when this is shorter or longer depending on the current load on the printers. If you need your order by a specific date, please let us know in the additional notes section during checkout or reach out to us using the contact form and we will make sure we get your package out in that timeframe.

What type of material do we use?

Almost all of our models utilize a filament called PLA. We have included a link to an article that does an amazing job of describing what it is. What is Polylactic Acid?

What happens after I order?

First, you should receive an order confirmation email in the email your provided during checkout. If you do not receive this, please make sure you check your spam folder as we have several of our emails unfortunately find our way to there. If you have any special requests or further clarifications needed, we will email you using the following email address: marlin@moobarustore.com. Again, double check your spam folder to make sure our emails are not going in there. When your order is ready to be boxed up, we will create a shipping notification ticket and you will receive an email letting you know that your order has been fulfilled and will be sent soon along with a tracking number for your order. Unless otherwise specified, we drop off the orders to be shipped anywhere from 1-3 business days after fulfillment.
